Set up the desktop environment

1. Get Visual Studio. Visual Studio provides the development environment for your RobotStudio Add-Ins and SmartComponents. There are several editions of Visual Studio. The Community Edition is free of charge. Learn more and download from Microsoft.

2. Get RobotStudio SDK. The SDK gives you Visual Studio project templates and APIs for extending RobotStudio and creating SmartComponents with Code-Behind. Download

3. Get RobotStudio. You need RobotStudio to debug and use the Add-Ins and SmartComponents that you have developed. Download
